For today’s product review, we feature another phentermine-alternative supplement – PhenRed.
This is probably because of poor marketing campaign by its manufacturer or just simply an ineffective brand.
Read on and learn more about PhenRed. See how this supplement works for weight loss and how it compares to our brand PhenQ.
What is PhenRed?
PhenObestin 37.5 is a product of BioNeutrix and aims to mimic the slimming potency of phentermine weight loss drug.
Like other supplements online, this product is made with all natural ingredients with no harmful chemicals or artificial ingredients.
Amazon markets this diet pill as “the strongest diet pill that can be bought over the counter”. They also claim that PhenRed can help you lose up to 20 pounds per month.
Too good to be true? Well, probably it is!
As a fat burner and metabolism booster, PhenRed has the ingredients that can help reduce your weight but not as significant as what are claimed online.
Plus, this brand is ridiculously expensive with $39.95 price tag on Amazon. Money back guarante or returns are also unlikely.
The formula of this supplement offers a whopping 900mg per serving of known slimming agents such as caffeine, L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, 5-HTP and rhodiola rosea.
Inactive ingredients include rice flour, gelatin, magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide.
So Can PhenRed Help You Lose Weight?
While this supplement has a potent formula, it is hard to tell how much amounts each ingredients actually have because they aren’t detailed on its label.
So PhenRed might not be as potent as it seems.
Caffeine is one ingredient in PhenRed that can help trigger weight loss for you. Caffeine is known to help boost mental performance while improving your athletic performance by increasing your energy levels.
Amino acids L-Tyrosine and L-Theanine both work similarly in your body. These compounds help boost mental functions which helps improve your mood and focus on your workouts and diet plan.
Rhodiola rosea on the other hand also promotes physical and cognitive vitality. It has been proven to help reduce fatigue and exhaustion.
However, rhodiola rosea isn’t proven yet for weight loss – WebMD.
Lastly, PhenRed has 5-HTP. This chemical is a by-product of the protein building block L-Tryptophan. It is widely helpful for sleep disorders, headaches, depression, anxiety and many others.
Like caffeine, 5-HTP works directly in the nervous system affecting the production of serotonin hormones. According to experts, serotonin affects sleep, body temperature, sex drive and appetite.
However, WebMD doesn’t approve this compound as a weight loss agent.
Is it Safe?
I’m afraid NOT!
Amazon reviews suggest that PhenRed triggers side effects such as Nausea, jitters and headache. This is probably because of its caffeine content.
So if you are planning to buy this brand, you better think twice and see if this supplement is really for you. Consult your doctor first before you buy PhenRed.
How does PhenRed Compare to PhenQ?
PhenRed isn’t at the quality level of PhenQ with regards to both inefficacy and side effects.
PhenQ hasn’t been linked to any kind of side effects. PhenRed however are bombarded with complains online.
PhenRed is also infamous for its inefficacy as seen on various online reports.
So with high risk of side effects, high probability of ineffectiveness and an expensive price tag, PhenRed isn’t the best choice for your weight loss program.
It is highly unlikely for this supplement to help you lose weight. Its claims are ridiculously doubtful and will never support your diet and exercise regimens.
It’s a no brainer, PhenQ is the better diet pill and is much safer for you.
